Description

We are seeking Architects and Interior Designers who demonstrate critical design thinking, creative problem solving, and exceptional graphic communication. Candidate should be self-motivated to meet project deadlines with skill and grace in a collaborative environment and bring a commitment to being an active participant in our employee-driven firm culture. Start date is January/February 2018.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture required

Applicants’ cover letter and resume should address your previous experience with the following:

Mid-Level Architects/Interior Designers (Minimum 5+ years experience):

-Team leadership on design projects, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development.
-Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
-Complex technical and design issues resolution
-Assistance with managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination
-Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples.
-Design Schemes presentation to clients as part of Marketing pursuits and Project presentations
-Contribution to office activities, initiatives and learning programs
-Junior staff mentoring

Mid-Level Technical Architects (Minimum 5+ years experience):

-Variety of project types/industries
-Consultant coordination
-Project management and contract coordination
-Fire and Life Safety and Code familiarity
-Building enclosure
-Field experience
-Contribution to office activities, initiatives and learning programs

Junior Architects (Minimum 2 years experience):

-3D rendering
-Animation and visualization
-Illustrations and diagramming
-Physical modeling
-Materials research and management of materials resources
-Contribution to office activities, initiatives and learning programs

Junior Interior Designers (Minimum 2 years experience:

-Variety of project types
-Familiarity with manufacturing, sourcing and ordering
-Space planning
-Custom casework and furniture
-Accessibility
-Programming
