We specialize in educational and civic work and are motivated by projects that create healthy and lively communities. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Architect for our Portland office.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive management and technical leadership for medium- and large-scale public works projects; and executing projects from pre-design through project closeout, including consultant coordination and client, agency, and technical reviews.

The candidate will demonstrate the ability to be responsible for project management and construction documents. He or she will work directly with the Principal in Charge on all aspects of the project, including business development, contract negotiations, and client relations. In support of the Bassetti team, the successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
  • 7 + years of experience in a range of architectural skills.
  • Licensed to practice architecture in Oregon State.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Excel, and Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Ability to work creatively in a collaborative environment during all phases of design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with K-12 projects is desirable.
