Energetic Architectural Intern with 3.5 Years of Experience

Thank you for taking the time to review my résumé. I am a young, energetic architectural intern with a strong passion for design. I have 3.5 years of experience working for small firms and am nearing completion of all requirements for licensure. I am looking for a new challenge at a firm where I can lend my skill and collaborate with other passionate design professionals, all while continuing to pursue my goal of developing into an outstanding and well-rounded architect.

Over the past three-and-a-half years I have developed proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, becoming equally comfortable using both to produce complete construction documents. I am also skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite, utilizing Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to create graphics, posters, logo designs and presentations.  Through my recent experience doing project management related tasks I have become adept at using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook to coordinate information flow between clients and consultants.  Lastly, I am proficient at researching products and building codes (IBC and local ordinances) providing analysis and interpretations as required at various stages in the project delivery.

As a native of the area I am invested in the development of the community, volunteering my time to the AIA and Architecture Foundation of Oregon regularly. Additionally, just over four years ago I spearheaded the effort to establish the AIA Emerging Professionals Happy Hour Series, one of the most popular monthly events on the AIA calendar.

I am eager for my next challenge and am excited to become a valuable contributor at a firm that plays a role in the continued development of this community. If you have need for an emerging professional of my skill level, please feel free to contact me via email or phone.

Thank you for your consideration.
