---

Hi, my name is Matthew! I am a recent architecture graduate with experience working in Portland as a designer and internationally as an intern in France. My long-term professional goal is to become a licensed architect in Oregon.

Originally set out to be a jazz trumpet player in the Navy band, I changed course in 2010 to carry on the designer tradition of my family. In love with the architectural design process, I bring my background as a musician to studio and public speaking.

As an Oregon native with dual citizenship in France I have a unique perspective that I would like to share with a progressive and community-engaged design firm to participate in the defining of Portland's built environment.

In my self-care time I enjoy volunteering, playing music, and figure drawing.

My resumé is attached and portfolio linked for your convenience. For further information about my background, experience, and skills, please do not hesitate to contact me by email or phone as listed above!

Sincerely,

Matthew Touzet
