Graduate Teaching Fellow & Architectural Designer Last Updated: May 19, 2017 (about 1 month ago)

Greetings! I will be graduating with a Master’s of Architecture and a specialization in Urban Design from the University of Oregon’s Portland program this coming June, 2017. I am originally from the Midwest, where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and had the opportunity to work in several small-to-medium sized firms in the Chicagoland area; with projects ranging from public interest design and tactical urbanism, to mixed-use design-build, adaptive reuse, restoration, and historic preservation. My academic and professional journey has shaped my foundations as a mission-driven designer with passion for improving the built environment, dedication to refining my craft, and excitement for the future.

These last two years learning and exploring Portland and the Pacific Northwest have been transformational for my worldview and career outlook. I believe deeply in the power of architecture and urban design to change lives for the better, using a holistic integrative approach that leads to smarter and more sustainable cities. I will be seeking design positions later this summer where I can continue to grow, collaborate, and share my passions, so please feel free to contact me anytime with questions or comments.

Thank you for your time and consideration in viewing my profile and resume.
